Salisbury Square - Randolph, VT (Now leasing apartments)

This project involves the redevelopment of the 4.4 acre former Ethan Allen Furniture Plant #1 in the heart of historic downtown Randolph. Construction is now complete on the first phase of development, which cleaned up the former brownfield site and created 14 affordable apartments in two new buildings and the rehabilitated historic Bookkeeper’s Building. Plans for the next phase of the overall mixed-income development include 22 for-sale single family homes, including some duplex and triplex units. The Hartland Group is serving as the development consultant and project manager for the local non-profit sponsor of Salisbury Square, the Randolph Area Community Development Corporation.

Harriman Hill - Wolfeboro, NH (Now in construction)

Harriman Hill is a significant effort to address the acute affordable housing needs of a thriving, mature lakeside resort community. The Eastern Lakes Region Affordable Housing Coalition purchased a 35-acre parcel on the edge of the historic downtown and with the Hartland Group serving as the development consultant has secured permits for a total of 48 affordable apartments and 20 for-sale homes. Construction is underway on the first phase of 24 apartments with leasing of the first buildings to begin in early 2012.

Packard Lofts - Burlington, VT

Packard Lofts

The Hartland Group has secured state and local land use permits for the adaptive reuse and new construction of an old Burlington warehouse and former Packard automobile showroom and .7-acre site. The project will consist of two- and three-bedroom loft-style living units varying in size from approximately 900 to 1700 square feet.

Gile Hill - Hanover, NH (Completed)

Gile Hill is a new neighborhood at the southern end of the Town of Hanover. The community consists of 120 new apartments and condominiums in 12 buildings on a wooded 21-acre site. This beautiful tract of land was donated by the Town of Hanover following a Town Meeting vote in 2003 as a significant way to respond to the critical need for reasonably priced housing in the Upper Valley region. Gile Hill is an innovatively designed, environmentally sensitive and energy efficient community, close to downtown Hanover, the Centerra Business Park and the abutting Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The first four buildings were completed in the fall of 2008, four more in 2009, two more in 2010 and the remaining two planned for later in 2012-2013. The rental housing is fully occupied with a long waiting list and condominium sales continue with 33 of 36 completed units either sold or under contract.
